Founder & CEO, Cresent Haynes, is a sound designer for theatre, live audio engineer and post production designer. She attended and graduated from the illustrious Howard University’s Department of Theatre Arts. There she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts Technology, with a focus in Sound Design.
Cresent received her first theatre review for her work as Sound Designer on the production “Not About Nightingales” directed by Eric Ruffin, describing her sound design as “an omniscient, foreboding force, ambitious in scope…”
Cresent’s credits include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Dallas Theatre Center), Show Way the Musical National Tour (Kennedy Center), Mojada (1st Stage Theatre), Rhiannon Giddens ‘You’re the One’ National Tour, A Strange Loop (Woolly Mammoth Theater), The Mortification of Fovea Munson (Kennedy Center), Heilung ‘Drift’ International Tour, Fabulation (Mosaic Theater Company), The Laramie Project (Duke Ellington School of the Arts), N (Keegan Theatre), Hope in the Hood (Amazing Grace Conservatory) and many more.
Cresent has aspirations of one-day designing on Broadway.
She has since founded our sister company. Authentic Eclectic Magic LLC, an an art and community service initiative that produces opportunities to help empower our community and curate original experiences, exhibits, installations and galleries. There Cresent takes the role of creative director and head curator. As a visual artist Cresent hopes to inspire others through her art, initiatives and philanthropy.
